Happy Math and Music Monday!
This is an exciting week because we will launch to our website (allydogdepot.com) the 11th Math and Music Video and Activities! I am so excited about this month’s video. This one is so so fun. We get to see Connor’s and Ally Dog’s art skills and the difference in going fast on something versus going slow on something.
“I hear and I forget. I see and I remember. I do and I understand.” – Chinese proverb
This quote is similar to one of my favorites by Benjamin Franklin and both get to one of our main goals for not only our company but also our family: Include your children in your daily activities and they will better understand the world and learning. Think about how you learn. I know, for me, if I am just told something… I most likely will forget it after a while. If I at least write it down, I have a better chance to remember, but if I can connect it to something else I do understand… then I will never forget it.
I know I’ve said it before, but our goal with these videos is for them to be used to set the learning environment and concept. Then it’s time to get off the device and learn and play together so that the kiddoes really will understand the new learning concept. I hope you will keep that in mind when doing these activities with your children.
Ok, without further ado, let’s take a sneak peek at the shooting of the Fast/Slow Math and Music Video! Don’t’ forget to check back next week for some extension activities for the Fast/Slow Video!
Thanks for stopping by!
We hope you all have a wonderful Math and Music Monday or even a wonderful Math and Music WEEK!
