Happy Math and Music Monday!
Can you believe it’s MAY!? I can’t. Man, this school year has gone by so fast, I really can’t believe it. Today is not only Math and Music Monday… it’s also our girls’ well-check doctor appointment. (Does anyone else have the Doc McStuffin’s song in their head? … “Time for a check-up, time for a check-up!” lol such a cute show.) Ok, sorry… this got me thinking it would be the perfect day for a Math and Music Monday Check-up! So, let me check in with you, our favorite users/subscribers, and see how things are going.
“Alone, we can do so little; together we can do so much.” – Helen Keller
Isn’t this a beautiful quote? It’s the perfect quote for this week and our Math and Music Monday Check up/check in. I started Math and Music Monday for two reasons. One: to hold myself accountable and spend intentional time with our girls having fun, but also do a meaningful math and music activity each Monday. I wanted to see if I could stick to this goal and also see if it could or would set up our week for learning success. And I have to say, it REALLY has. But that’s a whole other blog post that will be coming in the next few months. Two: to encourage other caring adults (i.e. stay-at-home moms, grandparents, or stay-at home-dads, etc) to do a fun math and music activity each week AND provide the easy-to-use tools to make it happen. I truly believe Music has Super Powers! I think we have done this, but I also feel that we always have room to make it better. So, this is where you come in and the whole “Together we can do so much” comes into play.
WE NEED YOU! … hold on… Let’s get on our cute faces, lol.
We are in the planning stages for our Season Two (I can’t believe it) videos and activities!! NOW is the time to share your thoughts and ideas with us.
We want to hear from you… I have only THREE short questions for you. All you have to do is send me an email! (email@example.com) It’s just that simple. OR if you are already a subscriber, just hit “reply” to our weekly blog email and I will get it!
Question 1: What are your favorite Ally Dog Depot Videos/Activities? Why?
Question 2: What learning concepts do you wish we would do?
Example: brushing your teeth, using the potty, more counting, more shapes, the number 11? Etc. (this can be anything you see as a need in your home or classrooms)
Question 3: How can we make your Ally Dog Depot user experience better?
Remember, we are SO much better together! I do blog this because I want to be a voice of hope and a resource for you. Please help us be the best we can be. Thank you for ALL your support. Please keep sharing and using our videos and activities.
